About SA Design Center

SA Design Center publishes articles about interiors and design. This policy explains what information reaches our site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What reaches our servers when you read the site

When you load a page, our hosting environment and content delivery network create standard server logs. These logs typically include your IP address, your browser or device type (user agent), the date and time of the request, and the page requested. We use these logs to operate the site, troubleshoot issues, and protect the site from abuse.

Cookies and similar storage

SA Design Center does not run ads, analytics, or a newsletter, and we do not set tracking cookies for visitors.

WordPress may set a session cookie for a logged-in site administrator to keep the admin session active. Regular readers do not receive this cookie.

Our caching/CDN layer may place strictly necessary cookies or use similar technology to route traffic and improve page loading. These are functional and not used to profile you.

For more detail on cookie categories used on this site, see our Cookie Policy page.

Contact by email

If you email us, we will receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any headers or attachments your mail client includes. We use this information to respond to you and to manage editorial or partnership inquiries.

Messages may be retained as part of our business records for as long as they are needed for reference or to resolve an issue, then deleted when no longer required.

Accounts and submissions

Public registration is closed. The only user accounts on the site are for administrative purposes. We do not offer order forms, contact forms, or comment forms on the site.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above to publish and maintain the site, ensure reliability and security, respond to correspondence, and comply with applicable law.

Who can see it

Access to any personal information is limited to the site administrators and service providers who help us run the website, such as hosting and CDN providers, and email services when you contact us. These providers use the data only to provide their services to us. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Retention

Server logs are kept for operational and security purposes and are typically retained for a short period. If we investigate suspicious activity, relevant logs may be kept longer.

Email correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to manage the conversation or our records, and then deleted when no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to certain uses. You can exercise these rights by emailing [email protected].

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children’s privacy

Our content is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page. Substantive changes will apply going forward from the date of posting.
