SA Design Center values the intellectual property rights of others. We expect our users and contributors to do the same. This policy details our commitment to respecting copyright and outlines the procedures for reporting and addressing alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

We work to ensure that all content published on sadesigncenter.com adheres to legal standards, particularly within the creative design community we serve. Our platform exists to share insights and inspiration for interior design, architecture, and related fields. Protecting original creative work is important to this mission.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one, you may submit a formal takedown notice. This notice must allege that content accessible on SA Design Center infringes your copyright. We review all valid notices promptly.

To file a notice, please provide the following elements:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. Include multiple works if applicable.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity. Provide sufficient information for us to locate the material, such as a URL.

  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate. Also state, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Counter-Notification Process

If material you posted on SA Design Center has been removed due to a copyright infringement claim, you may submit a counter-notification. This allows you to dispute the claim. We will reinstate the material unless the copyright holder files a court action.

Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where the material appeared before its removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district in which SA Design Center may be found). You must also agree to accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement.

Repeat Infringer Policy
